E̜stial Vreköd Hadfow (/ˈe̜stjal/ /ˈvreko˞d/ [careful] [protection]) is a temperate City located in the Wokki̽k Moot of the Rosid.
The name E̜stial Vreköd Hadfow is derived from the Goblin language, as E̜stial Vreköd Hadfow was founded by Fyêmeg̈m, who was culturaly Wood Elf.
Climate
E̜stial Vreköd Hadfow has a yearly average temperature of 12°C (53°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 26°C (78°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a freezing -2°C (29°F). E̜stial Vreköd Hadfow receives an average of 146 cm/y (57 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. E̜stial Vreköd Hadfow covers an area of nearly 30 km2 (12 mi2), and an average elevation of 5052 m (16574 ft) above sea level.
Overview
E̜stial Vreköd Hadfow was founded durring the late 16th century in winter of the year 1485, by Fyêmeg̈m. The establishment of E̜stial Vreköd Hadfow was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Fyêmeg̈m struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish E̜stial Vreköd Hadfow as a prison colony.
E̜stial Vreköd Hadfow was built using the conventions of Wood Elf durring the late 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and E̜stial Vreköd Hadfow is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
E̜stial Vreköd Hadfow is is constructed arround a series of narrow flagstone mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The city is the proud owner of a thick set of fortified walls fashioned from querried stone blocks. While not up to snuff for a fort or castle wall, the city's walls are naturaly much larger than those of forts or castles. Therefore, the construction such a wall is most expencive. E̜stial Vreköd Hadfow's buget focused wall would serve its community well in battle in spite of looking unimpressive compared to castles and fortresses. The city's top tier civilian fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the city's defences.
The first thing you notice about E̜stial Vreköd Hadfow is the large sign at the entrance welcoming you to their humble city. Children come up to you and say hi, some asking if you’ve fought any big monsters, and others just zipping away after their hello. The adults are much the same. By the time you’ve made it a significant way into the town you’ve been invited to a tavern for a pint to drink in exchange for news of the world. You’ve also had no less than three older women give you a sweetroll and direct your attention to their still unmarried children. It would be creepy if it wasn't so sincere.

Cultural Notes
E̜stial Vreköd Hadfow's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known primarily for its use of abstraction and simplicity. Clean lines, right angles, and primary colors characterized this aesthetic and art movement expressed via architecture and paintings. Its design ethos allows only primary colors and non-colors, only squares and rectangles, only straight and horizontal or vertical lines. Vertical and horizontal lines are positioned in layers or planes that do not intersect, thereby allowing each element to exist independently and unobstructed by other elements. These seemingly impossible principals for an architectural style coalesces into structures which most experts find hard to put into words.
